Zia is an Advisor in the Asset and Wealth Management Division at Goldman Sachs, focused on portfolio solutions for high-net worth families and institutional clients. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Zia accumulated a decade of non-profit work experience in the Bay Area and internationally with the United Nations, focused on sexual and gender-based violence and food security issues. 

Zia received an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, in 2022. Zia also earned an MA from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in International Policy Studies, after graduating with a BS and BA from Louisiana State University in Psychology and Political Science. Zia is a Stanford Community Fellow, a Forte Fellow, and a Knight Foundation Emerging City Champion.

Zia is a committee member of the Financial Women of San Francisco, a non-profit organization that advances the success of women in finance in the Bay Area. 

Zia is a community council member of Farming Hope, a garden-to-table job training nonprofit transitioning people experiencing homelessness into the workforce.
