Victoria Beckley is a consultant and researcher who provides data analysis and visualizations for organizations working to promote affordable housing. Her work is focused on the Bay Area, where she's lived for nearly a decade. Victoria's background is in geographic information systems (GIS) and digital cartography, specializing in web mapping and visual communication. Many years of working in city government inspired her to pursue a Masters of City Planning program at Cal, where she researched the housing affordability crisis and efforts to decommodify land and return it to community control. Following this program she started her own consulting company to provide data-driven research and visualization to the field of affordable housing preservation.
