SFCLT 2024 Impact Report
In 2024, the San Francisco Community Land Trust emerged as the tip of the spear of the community ownership movement in the Bay Area and beyond.
Thanks to a generous grant from the MacKenzie Scott Foundation, SFCLT has been able to grow our internal capacity, hiring experts in real estate development, cooperative housing, and housing finance. With our expanded team, we have worked to acquire new property in the Mission District and stabilize our existing buildings, particularly at 285 Turk Street in the Tenderloin. And with additional resources, we are broadening our impact not just in San Francisco but throughout the Bay Area, helping emerging CLTs pursue our shared goal of creating housing and an economy that works for low-income and BIPOC communities.
